 CBC Curriculum Design

The CBC has a design for that categorizes learners according to age. The system stipulates that the early year’s education should be 2 years for pre-primary and 3 years for lower primary featuring learners up to 9 years.

Middle school education has 3 years for upper primary and 3 years for lower secondary featuring learners aged 10-14 years.

Senior school studies feature learners from 15 -17 years whereas tertiary and training consisting of learners aged 18 years and above.

Graduation from tertiary educating exposes learners into the world of work.

According to CBC system, all the knowledge the learner gather from the early education all the way to tertiary level serves as a foundation for intermediate and special needs  education.
