Step 1: Register on www.ecitizen.go.ke

Step 2. Go to immigration.ecitizen.go.ke and or Department of immigration services and click on the passport application form.

Step 3. Read the instructions carefully then fill the application form.

Step 4. Select the mode of payment and pay for the passport fees.

Step 5. Download and print the application form and three application receipts.

Duration To Wait Before Getting Your Passport

How long does it take to get a passport in Kenya? Once your application has been physically filed at the Immigration offices, it should take at least 10 working days to receive your first passport.

It should take at least 5 working days for all other sorts of applications. If further information is needed or your application hasn’t been filled out correctly, it might take up to 12 weeks.
