Lerruat Log Resort is a recreational center at Kumpa located on Kajiado county’s hills, about 90 min drive from Nairobi town without traffic and an approximately 2hrs 20 min drive with traffic. The resort started as a holiday home by a family who decided to spent time away from home in 2015. The owner started the resort with only twelve rooms.
The resort began when the owner’s friends visited and were left a gust at how the area presented with an attractive topography and its natural plantations. The friends ended up staying longer than they thought they would stay, invited friends, and booked for the next holiday. With the help of bank loans, the place has been improved with over 50 rooms, a swimming pool, and other modern modifications.
