President Ruto Mourns the Loss of Byron Papi, Sipangwingwi’s Creative Genius

President William Ruto has expressed his heartfelt condolences following the untimely demise of the renowned Gengetone music producer and artist, Byron Kivisi, popularly known as Byron Papi.

Taking to Twitter on Thursday, President Ruto conveyed his profound sadness at the passing of the talented producer, reminiscing about their first encounter during the recording session of the hit track, “Sipangwingwi.”

In a poignant message, he shared, “I am deeply moved by the departure of music producer and artist Byron Muhando Kivisi. Byron was initially introduced to me by the music sensation Xray during a recording session of the chart-topping song, ‘Sipangwingwi,’ held at the Deputy President’s residence in Karen.”

President Ruto fondly remembered Byron for his composed and collected demeanor, qualities that had endeared him to many. He attributed Byron’s meteoric rise in the music industry to his extraordinary talent.

“It is disheartening that we have lost Byron at such a young age. However, we find solace in knowing that his artistic creations will continue to resonate with us. To his family, friends, and fans, please accept our deepest sympathies. May Byron rest in eternal peace,” President Ruto expressed.

Byron Kivisi’s unexpected departure sent shockwaves throughout his family, the entire music community, and his devoted fanbase. In a statement released by his family, they conveyed their profound grief and shed light on the circumstances surrounding his tragic passing.
