Ace Your KCPE Math: Online Prep with MP Babu Owino!

Embakasi East MP Babu Owino, renowned for his online national examination revisions, is set to conduct a comprehensive mathematics review for Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) candidates starting this Monday, October 23, 2023.

In an exciting initiative, Babu Owino will host the math revision sessions at 7:30 pm on his YouTube Channel, Instagram, Facebook, and X accounts. In a heartfelt video message, he encouraged all KCPE candidates to believe in themselves and embrace positivity. “To all our candidates, I wish you the very best,” he said, expressing his confidence in their abilities.

During the video, Babu Owino emphasized the power of positive thinking, reminding students that their mindset plays a crucial role in determining their outcomes. He urged them to make the most of the remaining days to practice mathematics diligently.

The rehearsal date for both KCPE and the Kenya Primary School Education Assessment (KPSEA) is scheduled for Friday, October 27. The official examinations for KCPE and KPSEA are slated to begin on Monday, October 30, concluding on Wednesday, November 1.

This year’s KCPE examinations mark a significant milestone as they signal the end of the 8-4-4 system in primary schools. The Ministry of Education, led by Education Principal Secretary Belio Kipsang, revealed in a meeting with Field Education Officers and officials of the National Government Administration Officers (NGAO) that 2023 boasts the highest number of KCPE candidates in the nation’s history.

A staggering 3.5 million candidates are expected to sit for national examinations, with KCPE candidates constituting the largest number ever recorded in the country. This figure encompasses candidates eligible for the Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE), Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE), and Kenya Primary School Education Assessment (KPSEA).

Education Principal Secretary Belio Kipsang acknowledged the extraordinary rise in candidates, revealing that there were 300,000 additional learners, some of whom are adults registered as private candidates.

This surge highlights the diverse range of individuals seeking education in Kenya, underlining the country’s commitment to providing educational opportunities for everyone, regardless of age or background.

As MP Babu Owino spearheads the online math revision sessions, candidates are encouraged to participate actively, seize the opportunity to enhance their skills, and approach the examinations with confidence.

The online sessions not only symbolize the evolution of educational practices but also signify a collective effort to support and empower the next generation of leaders in Kenya.
